POD 1

Offers a Celestron 9.25 inch SCT on a Celestron CGM mount.   This is a 6 foot Skyshed POD with a clamshell roof. It has three bays, one of which is configured as a workstation. The scope is fully set up for astrophotography with a filter wheel, auto focuser, and an OGMA monochrome camera (same chip as the ASI2600MM).

Guest PAD 39A

Guest space available for use with your own observing equipment. This is a square enclosure with four foot walls to block the wind. It has quad electrical outlets in the center and along the wall.

PRO DOME

Offers a Meade 14 inch SCT on a Celestron CGX mount topped with a Williams 80mm refractor.   The scope is configured for visual observing but can also be used for planetary imaging.

POD 2

Is a dedicated solar observatory with a Meade 8 inch SCT equipped with a white light filter and a Coronado 70mm Ha Solarmax telescope.   This is a 6 foot SkyShed with one bay.

Guest PAD 39B

Guest Observatory available for use with your own observing equipment. This is an round deck with no walls to give low scopes view all the way to the horizon. It includes a quad electrical outlet in the center.

The scopes are columnated, permanently mounted on piers and are north aligned.  Use our selection of eye pieces or bring your own.  Rent our cameras and computers or bring your own imaging equipment.   All reservations in Lost Sky observatories include a complimentary orientation session so that you are comfortable with the equipment.  For the best experience, please plan on arriving in time for a daylight orientation session.  We’re on hand evening hours to answer questions and help with the equipment.
